80th Anniversary Reception in Ashling Hotel

In advance of our 80th anniversary Steam Train Outing on Saturday 24 th October to Thurles, on Friday evening the Society will be holding a Celebratory Reception to provide members and friends with an opportunity to meet and socialise with fellow members and guests.

About the event

At the event, suitable refreshments and canapes will be served. In addition to some formal speeches from representatives of all the branches a video and photographic presentation will run throughout the event on the AV system. It is planned that some memorabilia and artifacts from our Heuston premises will be on display in the function room. Past Journals will also be available for perusal and purchase.

It is hoped that members from all branches will be in attendance.
