The draft of the Strategic Plan (RAIL 2034) for the Irish Railway Record Society was prepared by a Committee of the IRRS Board. It was approved as a basis for consultation with members at the February meeting of the Board and responds to a resolution passed at the 2018 AGM.
The draft Strategic Plan seeks to identify the principal challenges facing the Society in the years ahead and to identify a broad strategic direction and a number of specific measures to respond to those challenges and secure the future of the Society and its collections.
Members are asked to carefully consider the draft and provide feedback to the Board, either at the AGM, directly to any member of the Board or by post or email to info@irrs.ie. When the Board has fully considered the feedback received, it will revise and give final approval to the Plan.
