NLI’s Morgan Aerial Photographs (Railway Views)

A new photographic collection has been made available to view on the National Library of Ireland‘s online catalogue. The Morgan Aerial Photographic Collection contains archive photos of places and events in most counties of the Republic and some from Northern Ireland during the years 1954 to 1957. Below are links to high-resolution photographs containing items of Irish railway interest from this collection, such as the Cahir Viaduct accident of 1955 and the Carlow Sugar Beet Factory.
